PALM HOUSE
Bronte, Sydney

Completed 2025

THE CHALLENGE
I was asked to bring some ‘curb appeal’ to this existing two storey brick and tile home in Sydney’s eastern suburb of Bronte. Inspired by recent trips to Byron Bay, the clients were looking for a coastal aesthetic that suited the homes beachside location. The front garden also needed new soft and hard landscaping, and the tired garage needed a facelift.

THE SOLUTION
Working within the clients budget I opted for a light touch approach to the homes existing structure, opting to replace external finishes where required including a new metal roof, gutters and facade cladding, while the existing brickwork was repainted. The existing garage was generally rebuilt, with new stone pillars and timber garage door which continues into a new boundary fence, gate and letterbox pillar. New soft and hard landscaping, lighting and front entry door added the finishing touches.
